Summer Aviation Seminars

One Day Beginner Session - THIS SESSION IS FULL

  • Beginner 1 day seminar - Wednesday, July 10
  • The camp runs from 9am-3 pm. We will provide lunch and drinks
  • Camp is open to ages 12-15.
  • $129 per person
  • Camp is open to 12 campers
  • Morning ground instruction covers such topics as aircraft systems, navigation, basic flight planning, hands- on activities with airplanes. Afternoon will be 30 minutes active flight time and 30 minutes in the back seat observing.
  • Students can download the registration form here. They can also register online!
  • $50 deposit with registration, can be cash, check, or charge and can be mailed, phoned in or dropped off.
  • Balance due 30 days prior to start of the session
  • All beginners will receive a tshirt and a beginner’s log book.
  • Participation in this seminar makes them eligible for advanced camp- if there are openings.

Intermediate Seminars - BOTH SESSIONS ARE FULL

This career focused program will give you a completely new curriculum, more flying time, more advanced maneuvers, more hands-on activities, a new great field trip for 2013, and experienced guest speakers!
Prerequisite: Beginner Session or some flying experience.
  • August 5 - 9
  • Daily from 10am-3pm
  • Ages 12-16
  • Cost is $425 pp*
  • 16 slots available
  • Participants should bring lunch and a drink.
  • Curriculum is more challenging for this seminar.  We are going to have a career focus with experienced and enthusiastic guest speakers coming to share their stories and advice. Students will get more flight time this summer! They will learn more advanced maneuvers, some time in the Light Sport. Individual flights on Friday with cookout! Students will receive relevant hand outs to add to their binder, a t-shirt as well as other prizes!

  • All students will be asked to bring in a completed physical form from their doctors as well as proof of immunizations.
  • $50 deposit due with registration. Balance due 30 days prior to start of session.
