Summer Aviation Seminars

Beginner Seminar
Join our certified instructors for ground- based instruction where we will cover a wide range of topics including time on our flight simulator, aircraft systems, navigation, basic flight planning, hands-on activities with airplanes and and a beginner’s guide to aviation. We’ll also take an unforgettable field trip! On our last day, we’ll take individual flights with our instructors!

  • There are 2 beginner sessions- Session 1 is July 11-15 and Session 2 is August 8-12
  • Runs daily from 10 am - 3 pm. Participants should bring a lunch and drink.
  • Open to ages 12- 15.
  • The cost is $350 per student.
  • Curriculum covers such topics as aircraft systems, navigation, basic flight planning, time on our simulator, hands- on activities with airplanes, a beginner's log book and beginner's guide to aviation. Final day will be flight day and closing awards, families invited to watch and for a cook-out.

  • Students will be able print registration form off website, fill it out electronically, or pick one up at the airport and mail it to us.
  • $50 deposit with registration. Can be cash, check, or charge. Can be mailed, phoned in or dropped off.
  • Balance due 30 days prior to start of the seminar. ( Session 1 balance due: June 11;  Session 2 balance due: July 9)
  • All Beginners will receive a t-shirt, a Beginner's Guide to Flying and a Beginner's log book.


Intermediate Seminars
This career focused seminar will give you a completely new curriculum, more flying time, more advanced maneuvers, more hands-on activities, another great field trip, and experienced guest speakers!
Prerequisite: Beginner Session or some flying experience.
  • July 18-22 and August 8-12
  • Daily from 10am-3pm
  • Ages 12-16
  • Cost is $375 pp*
  • 16 slots available
  • Participants should bring lunch and a drink.
  • Curriculum is more challenging for this seminar.  We are going to have a career focus with experienced and enthusiastic guest speakers coming to share their stories and advice. Students will get more flight time this summer! They will learn more advanced maneuvers, some time in the Light Sport. Individual flights on Friday with cookout! Students will receive relevant hand outs to add to their binder, a t-shirt as well as other prizes!
  • Students can download the registration form here. They can also register online, print it and mail or fax it, or come in and pick one up at the airport.
  • All students will be asked to bring in a completed physical form from their doctors as well as proof of immunizations.
  • $50 deposit due with registration. Balance due 30 days prior to start of session. ( Session 1 - due June 18. Session 2 - due July 8)
