Airport Goes Green
Apr 7, 2010 --- The airport is leveraging the available roof space from its existing hangars to install solar panels. Elm Electrical of Westfield has completed installation of 10 KW solar panel system on the roof of the community hangar. This system will produce $1800 worth of electricity a year.

The airport received a grant for half of the $80,000 system.
