Beginning in May, 2014, Northampton Airport began using a new system from Invisible Intelligence called “G.A.R.D”(General Aviation Recording Device) that allows the airport to track aircraft operations. The system records audio transmissions over the airport UNICOM frequency and averages the number of transmissions made by each aircraft and counts them.
