Fly-In - May 30th
May 22, 2009 --- Chapter #1478 of the Experimental Airplane Association & Northampton Airport is hosting a fly-in on May 30th. All general aviation planes are welcome!
Events:
Members of our local EAA & Northampton Airport employees will be on hand to talk planes, measure your skills if you wish, and just hang out with you for an enjoyable day of being with other pilots. Drop in for plane talk! Have a doughnut, a cup of coffee and stay for lunch!
Events:
- 9 to 11: Test your skill with an arrival spot landing
- Attend a Density Altitude Seminar, presented by Jim Adams, Aviation Safety Inspector, FAA
- Enter your take-off distance calculation which we will measure when you leave
- Lunch 11 to 1: Hotdogs and Hamburgers
- Saturday, May, 30th
- Rain date, Sunday, May 31st
