What type of aircraft are you building? A Glastar Sportman 2 + 2 (basically a beefy version of the original Glastar).

When do you expect to be finished? I'm hoping for one year, two at the most.

Why did you decide to build your own plane? I decided I wanted a plane that could be continually expanded upon and upgraded, without going to all of the trouble of purchasing an entire new aircraft. I'd rather invest in a plane that I could upgrade myself and that was not limited to the certified parts and procedures that most aircraft are restricted by.

Any interesting facts/stories? The company that I am buying my assembled engine and propeller from is Eggenfellner and the engine they provide is manufactured by Subaru (as in the car manufacturer) and is the same engine to be found in the Subaru Outback.
